"Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. "We stayed for two weeks at the beginning of September and would happily go back again. The apartment has every amenity needed for a relaxing and peaceful holiday and the gardens are lovely. As the owner says, the stairs up to the apartment are not suitable for anyone with limited mobility but other than that, we would highly recommend it."
