"It is a place full of character. Delightful staff (limited English with some did not take away from their kindness and personal care). The building is all traditional Kerala, lots of dark wood, and a very amusing lift playing Tamil music. "Our room at the Turtle was spacious, good and clean with a huge terrace with sea views. The pool area could have been cleaner and there was a shortage of sun beds and brollies. It was very easy to get to the beach by either hotel car or a tuk tuk was only INR 100. We spent most of our time on Lighthouse beach as at the left end, looking out to sea, there was an amazing snorkelling spot. Brilliant."

Swimming pool in need of renovation Room not cleaned in 4 days No toilet paper Generally dirty and grubby The fridge we requested on arrival was delivered a day later, but they turned it of every day We were booked in for 15 nights but left after 4.
