"Love the location of this condo. The pool is nice and it is only about 10 -15 mins walk to the beach. Also, there is a sidewalk so you are not walking on the main road with cars and trucks and motorbikes. There is a small grocery store located at the front of the condo and it has everything including meat and vegetables and fruits. The only thing I would fault this place is the mattress. "We were at our home away from home for 2 weeks over the Christmas holidays. The place was even better than in the listing if that’s possible. Absolutely everything you need is right there and the concierge service which was included was absolutely amazing!!Alexa from blue zone made booking and organizing everything so easy!We would come back here in a heart beat and highly recommend this property."

"The Bougainvillea condos were safely located on the Reserva Conchal resort where we enjoyed many resort amenities, such as the beach club, Neenda restaurant, and Playa Conchal beach. The condo was clean and well-maintained with air conditioning (very important) and laundry facilities in the condo (much appreciated). The internal shuttle to the beach club was easy to call for and very efficient. Bring money in small bills (dollars ok) as you'll want to be giving some cash tips for the services....

"Nice gated place. Two apartments below, two above. We didn’t hear our neighbors, which was nice. Really close to the beach but you need to follow forest paths to get there faster. Lots of monkeys and iguanas around. Playa Hermosa is a much quieter beach town than many others, and we like it that way. The bigger hotel Villa de Sueno on the corner has good (though overpriced) food and music several nights a week. "

"Everything was great and everyone was helpful. It was more like a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, maybe more when the street is crowded. It was easier to use the pool at the condo. Also was a little difficult to use hot water in shower. There was no hot water to wash dishes in kitchen sink. Coco is a lovely town and we have already made arrangements to return."

"Our family of six (all adults) really enjoyed our two-week holiday stay at Nick’s condo — the 3 bedroom, 3 bath layout was perfect for us! The kitchen is well equipped and it also was great to have a washer dryer. The location is very nice, just a few minutes walk to the beach. We also really enjoyed having access to the Club! We came to this area of Costa Rica primarily to scuba dive and we were very pleased with the local dive company and the proximity of the condo to the diving services."

"Although the hotel was small, it was very compact and beautifully designed and felt very open and airy. Because I have mobility issues, the easy access to the pool and restaurant was a big plus. The long beautiful pool was great for swimming. The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming."

"We spent 5 days in Tamarindo and really liked the Best Western. We had a small balcony, but didn't use that so much as the upstairs patio area that was near the pool. We could catch a breeze there when it was hot and in general it was a nice comfortable space to hang out when we weren't doing something outside the hotel area. Visitors should be aware that on Friday nights, there is a very loud party with music that does on until about 2 AM. We were not made aware of this until we arrived but it happens every Friday night, and it is loud enough to make the walls vibrate. We also had an air conditioner problem that couldn't be solved and it would work, then not work, then work again. Sometimes it got really hot inside the room. Staff was very nice and they kept trying, but we had to keep asking. The included daily breakfast was really good, and my husband loved it and he is pretty picky about breakfast. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay. Small issues, but a very nice staff, nice location, and pretty comfortable."
