The free shuttle was right on time. We stayed here to catch a super early bus to NYC. We have stayed here before. The staff is friendly. The room is very comfortable and it's a great place to stay when you're catching a bus.

Portland Harbor Hotel
Staff was sub par for a 4 star hotel. Bartender and wait staff were more concerned about discussing issues with customers than actually serving people right in front of them. Front desk staff were very curt on the phone.

Germaine Inn South Portland
First time since new ownership. 360 degree improvement. Clean , friendly staff , rooms updated. It was really nice. Few snags but they will correct. Like ironing board , no iron , rooms without hairdryer. That being said you call the desk and they deliver to room right away.

It was clean, we just did not have to interact with the staff too much so I could not honestly give an answer. We assumed the kitchen included pots and pans, and the heating element (stove top) was not the best; it took a long time to heat up water. But aside from that, we would definitely stay again, ...
