Complimentary coffee in the morning, and loved the scrabble and chess tables near the fireplace to wind down after a long day of Christmas festivities! Room was impeccable. We really enjoyed our stay at the Press. Great location. City location so be prepared for typical city noises- right next store to a fire station. But so much is walkable and the staff/valet are all wonderful. Rooms are small but modern and very clean. Great beds!

This is a lovely hotel. My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip through New England and had high hope from having read great reviews - we were not disappointed! The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the hotel has a fun, quirky charm and really leans into the old newspaper printer history in a classy way. The rooms are nicely appointed and the bed was probably the coziest, most comfortable we had on our trip. The lobby is a nice place to sit and people watch, have a drink or play a board game, and the hotel is walking distance to the main street and lots of shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again should we ever get back to Portland!
