"Property was perfect. Minor ant issue towards the end of my stay, so cleaning products to sweep etc yourself would be recommended. Other than that, fantastic location! literal walking distance to anything you needed. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Figured if you find a space with blue lines you can pay at a metre. The underground carpark for the hospital only takes cash and cost around €12 overnight. That was the only issue really. Other than that, apartment was cute, secure, aircon, powerful...

"The apartment was beautiful, two couples stayed perfectly. The area was very nice, away from tourist. But very easy to get anywhere you want. Bus stop right in front of the building. There’s a lot of hills! But there’s a walk down the steps through a tunnel and beautiful rock beaches several restaurants close by."

"Overall it is a good place to stay. It’s spacious and the two bedrooms were more than enough room for my friend and I to be comfortable. Probably could sleep up to 4 comfortably if it was two couples. The location is great for being central in downtown Funchal, but the only con is its very loud basically all times of the day. "Great studio with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Amazing view to while away your time with a book and booze. My favourite area of the Quinta was the relaxing large shared seating area great for whatever the weather. Lovely gardens and pool. Will be staying again. Visit to the local bakery Mariazinha is a must."

"The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out. "
