Arbutus Cove Retreat is perfectly situated between Lund and Powell River, with exquisite views, excellent fishing and oysters in season, close access to the Sunshine Coast trails for hiking and biking as well as beautiful lakes to explore. Arbutus Cove Retreat offers a good dose of nature therapy and a welcome reprieve from life's hustle and bustle!

Over 1 acre of beautiful ocean front property, featuring 2 homes, with 4 private levels, each with their own walk out space to enjoy the stunning ocean views! High tide provides a lovely natural swimming area and lots of fun beach-exploring is possible. Even though you are sharing the property with the owners there is plenty of space and privacy.

Soak up the scenery from your private deck, sipping on your favourite drink, enjoying the wildlife, spectacular views and sunsets. Leave feeling rejuvenated & refreshed!

We welcome pets, however, please note the property is not fenced in.

Although Powell River is on the mainland, it will require a couple of ferry rides (Horseshoe Bay to Langdale and Earl's Cove to Saltery Bay) to get to it because it is not directly linked with the rest of the provincial road network.

In the summer months it’s a good idea to make a ferry reservation from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. Reservations are not available on the 2nd leg, from Earls Cove to Saltery Bay.

Family Reunion
4 adult siblings and 2 young teenagers fit perfectly in this beautiful suite. Lots of room to lounge, cook, play games, etc. We were lucky enough to have perfect summer weather so spent most of the time on the beach. The hosts checked in often via text to ensure all was well, many thoughtful little touches that you never knew you needed but really appreciated having. Will absolutely stay there again!

Absolute gem
Don’t hesitate to stay here. The suite is absolutely beautiful and stocked better than any vacation rental we have stayed at. The saltwater hot tub by the ocean was a bonus and we appreciated all of the different spaces to relax outside. Spectacular views topped it all off. We can’t wait for our next stay. Kudos to the owners for creating such an oasis!

Hockey Time with some R/R
We were in Powell River to attend my grandsons final minor hockey tournament (U18 Stars) and couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! Jenn & Sean were great hosts and our accommodations were the Best. With early morning rises and many trips back and forth to the rink, we felt right at home with the comfy beds, stunning views and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. So grateful we had such a lovely place to unwind from the long days! Without a doubt would recommend ~ these Hosts care!

A beautiful place to slow down
The house overlooks the shore towards a magnificent view of Vancouver Island. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed, it was perfect for a lovely rest. Both Sean and Jennie are superb hosts.
