"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "Modern and very clean hotel stay. Friendly welcome. Ultra clean. Large rooms with a small fridge. Superb sea views and black out blinds if required. We had a balcony lovely for an afternoon tipple. Short walk to the beach but a 15 min drive to the town centre as the nearby restaurants were closed for the off season. 12 MD checkout. Optional breakfast on site is very good with great coffee. "Both bedrooms smelled very bad because of the bathroom pipes. We felt we slept in a sewer. Terrible night sleep because windows had to be opened and there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in the room. We woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Also, when booking it did not state an additional charge for a late check, but we were told that there would be a late check charge after 9pm. "
