"Really lovely stay here. I'm very picky about beds and especially pillows and I was pleasantly surprised with their selection. Yes the double bed is 2 mattresses joined together but I'm used to a big bed at home and this means collectively the bed is much bigger than a double. I slept really well, which is unusual for me! The view from the suite was impressive and complimentary water appreciated after long days. Very handy location, we chose to walk along the river Spree to the Gate and other attractions just to take in the sights but the train could not be handier. From the airport it's a straight shot to Berlin central station hbf, the hotel it right outside. Quick note if you fancy a nice bottle to bring up to the room navigate to a Hit supermarket, fabulous selection and V cheap."

"This is a lovely hotel just reopened following the refurb after the infamous aquarium in the centre of the hotel shattered a few years ago. Must say the refurb is lovely (the aquarium replaced by a central column). The staff were great and professional and really looked after us. There were a couple of teething problems with the room tv and phone but soon resolved. Breakfast is lovely and the egg dishes off the a la carte are highly recommended! The location is ideal...right in the centre overlooking the Cathedral, 2 min walk from the tv tower and 15 min walk to the Brendanberg gate."
