"The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator. She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water."

"What a wonderful delight when we stayed at the Silas House. It felt like home. The hosts were most gracious and very friendly. They were also very helpful with the area information and restaurants. Having the whole house as an extension of our room and outside was unlike any hotel. Meeting other guests was a delight too. All and all it was an amazing experience. If you are able book the king suite. It is on the first floor and very roomy. Enjoy."
