"This is our fifth stay at the Valley Hotel- beautiful property in the heart of Homewood. Ashley always checks us in and is friendly and so welcoming and does a super job. We will return again soon!!"
"There was hair in the bed, the upholstered chairs were blackened from dirt, and the walls and floor were very dirty. I did not feel comfortable staying there, so I left and found a hotel downtown. I have not been refunded."

"The room was lovely and spacious. Bed comfort was as-expected with great pillows and sheets. We added breakfast to our stay and were very well-pleased with the menu and talent of the cook. The only downside was she was the only one stationed in the restaurant: she took orders, cooked, and bussed tables. I felt bad for her! It was 30min before she could get to us, but that’s not her fault.
The valet service was quick and pleasant. There’s plenty of quirk and fun in 5 Points South. "
"We stayed in the Turret room and it was so cool! Two king-sized beds that were super comfy. The bed in the turret room was semi-private and the other one had a view of a tv. The bathroom was clean and nice. (But FYI there's a window to the room and you can see the person using the toilet from the room) It was nice to have access to the downstairs kitchen. We loved the neighborhood and how you could walk around to places to eat. There's a Chick-fil-A right beside the house, as well as many other local eateries within walking distance. Yet it was plenty quiet on a Saturday. I would have appreciated some decaf coffee as an option for the coffee maker downstairs. It was a tad confusing about where to park b/c the directions told us to go through the CFA parking lot to a back lot, and the CFA parking lot was closed. But since it was a Sat. we were able to park in front of the house for free. I think during the week you have to pay to park out front. Overall a BEAUTIFUL home and we really enjoyed our stay and have been recommending it to everyone!"
