"A beautiful infinity pool that overlooked the surrounding countryside. Ruben was extremely responsive to any queries that we had and gave us great advice on restaurants and things to do.Figeac is a very nice medieval town with a buzzy Sunday market."

"Just a one night stay, sadly. Easy parking just over the road. Lovely room in top condition. Earplugs kindly supplied to help deal with the road noise from the bridge, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. Breakfast very good, but at 15 Euros the priciest of our trip round France. They also seemed understaffed at breakfast as the same staff were having to juggle reception duties as well."

The big surprise was the quality of the food at the hotel restaurant which meant we arrived after a long trip and didn't need to get back out to Figeac to eat out. "We had to walk from train station to hotel with luggage in tow. Reception was closed but the were very accommodating. Rooms were equipped with everything we needed. Thank goodness the weather cooled down because there is no AC. Positives-Hotel arranged transportation back to train station, stored bags and lended us an umbrella. Also the dining room and courtyard looked quaint. Not so positive- the bedding was not comfortable."
