"Overpriced hotel. None knew our two families were coming. Not very organized. Very basic kitchen, stove didn't work, TV didn't work, only one bathroom for two bedrooms, water flow extremely low, tasted and smelled extremely unpleasant, no lighting to walk from parking area to room ( we had to use our flashlights), gym was non operational, old, rusty, no A/C and windows broken. "Our stay at the property went well. We really used the property for sleeping purposes as well as breakfast prepping and did not enjoy the pool. The surrounding area is beautiful. Beaches and all were just heaven. A wonderful variation to the Guanacaste experience. only issue I would caution folks wanting to book is to have sleep masks as light does shine through 24/7, because at night there are motion sensor lighting. "The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also."

"Front desk lied to us when we tried to check in. Said they had never heard of Hotels.com nor Expedia. Said they had no rooms even though we had a confirmation and pre paid receipt from Hotels.com. I contacted Hotels.com and they contacted the hotel. Miraculously, the front desk remembered Hotels.com ! Front desk told the Hotels.com agent that the new agreement had not been signed yet...."
