Don’t forget to visit the sister property they have a very nice pool. The only observation is the dining menu is always the same and very seafood forward. However they are great restaurants nearby. "Villa Toucan was the perfect place for us! It was an unforgettable 40th anniversary. We didn't know such a place existed. But know that this rustic, simple jungle villa without AC and open air bathroom, shower, sitting room might not be for everyone...but it was for us. The fans were effective and bugs not too bad. The bed we used was great. Best of all was the setting. Howler monkeys and the nesting Montezuma birds were the stars of the show. Toucans could be seen in a same tree every morning...

"Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!"
