"One of the things which makes Britain great is a traditional hotel steeped in history where everywhere you go you’ve a sense of the past and the people who’ve moved through the space and used its facilities before you. Vicky and George were fantastic hosts. We had the best time staying here this weekend. The food was terrific. The cooked breakfast was so tasty and served in a charming dining salon. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Corfe Castle who’s eager to sidestep the holiday and premier inn type hotel (they serve their purpose but they’re utterly soulless of course). Thank you for making us and our dog so welcome. "

"It’s rare to visit an establishment where there are so many excellent staff. We visited the Countryman on Boxing Day and booked a Christmas meal and a double room. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent. The room was very comfortable. I cannot praise everyone enough. If you visit Dorchester, this IS the place to stay. Thank you for making our Boxing Day so lovely "

"Very nice hotel. Room spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was varied and plentiful. One thing that was not good, hotels.com advertised our room as having free breakfast included, but when booking in we were told that this was not the case. We hope that we will receive a refund from Hotels.com, as this was still advertised on their site."

"An amazing time with the most beautiful views over the bay especially to watch sunrise. Perfect location to go for walks to durdle door. Special memories made here. Would definitely recommend. "
