"Moorefield is a small town with everything you need: Walmart, movie theater, city park, several restaurants. The valley location provides beautiful 360 degree mountain views. I was there for the hiking, and there were lots of great hiking opportunities in the area and a few state parks within an easy drive. "We stayed at the River access cabin for 5 nights with our 2 doggies and had such a nice time. The absence of traffic noise at night time while listening to whippoor wills was glorious. We enjoyed Bob fires, hot tubbing, lazy days at the lake in the trout pond recreational area and a hike to Cranny Crow overlook in Lost River State Park. We took some adorable #almostheaven photos on the swing at the top. The cabin is well appointed with various cookware, WiFi and a smart tv which we never used....

"The trailer was good for 2 people, had problems with the main Tv Darlene did come down to try to fix but with no luck, did have the bedroom Tv work on regular channels no movies channels, nice location very quiet. Had to use the heat on Saturday as it did really cold, worked very nicely- Would recommend to couples, very nice. Thank you "

"It was a beautiful location tucked away in the woods by a river. The house sways like crazy with any movement but I think that is normal. It was very clean and had everything that I needed to cook with and coffee. The house is borderline infested with spiders. Could use some spray. I know its in the woods and bugs are to be expected but they could be contrlled a little better. Overall would stay again! "

"We stayed at the lovely property so that we could attend a family reunion at Lost River State Park. The park was only about 7 miles from the house. The home was lovely. Clean and well maintained. We loved the front porch swing and my 12 year old son spent time on the swing off the front porch. We put on water shoes and explored the creek out back too!
