"Casa Galos was a very nicely done complete remodel of an old mansion up the hill in Cerro Conception Valpo with a rooftop deck and great view of the harbor, and close to several excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast healthy and fresh. I highly recommend it. "

"First, the views are spectacular, the views will be hard to beat anywhere else. I also loved the location, it was much quieter than further south and was so close to the ocean. It didn't take much exploring to find surfers everywhere. The place is very clean and has all the amenities you'll need for your stay. Check-in was easy, access is easy but well secured. On sight security. This is just an excellent place and I do plan on returning and staying here many more times!"

"Hernan the owner is an absolute gem. He provided an excellent introduction to the area and gave us a bottle of champagne to ring in the new year. Keep in mind, this is an apartment, not a fancy hotel. The room had everything you need, the sheet are clean etc... but expect some wear-and-tear and the need to fidget with the showers. Also, the place is only five minutes from fun bars, restaurants and night life. "

"I liked that the hotel is almost an art galleria, with several paints and sculptures. They have a secure parking that's not common in that area. Staff is friendly and kind. It's not far from the famous urban art streets that are recommended to walk during the day. Avoid the halls at night."

Cute and trendy and almost perfect.

"It’s a very cute and trendy hotel in a really good part of the city is close to many restaurants and amenities. Breakfast was included, which was nice, and it was good. Don’t be fooled by the cornflakes, they still come and take your order for a regular breakfast. Back terrace where breakfast is served has a lovely view of the harbor. My only small complaint is that the trendy open concept design of the staircase means that sound travels upward rather easily. I could hear kitchen staff preparing equipment or washing dishes or something fairly late at night. "
