"My husband and I spend a month every winter on the island of Eleuthera and always stay in the rainbow bay area. This year we chose Sugar Apple.and absolutely loved it. The house is lovely and super comfortable... the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking, especially while relaxing by the pool. There are so many beaches and places to visit in the area. The location was perfect for awesome sightseeing and then to come home after exploring all day......make dinner and watch the cruise ships...

Firefly type bugs flying around are awesome, other than flies congregating indoors without seemingly any invitation, bugs weren’t a problem. The first one has to do with the accuracy of online listing in terms of location, it seems it is by the beach or at least at a pretty close walking distance but it is not actually like that, the second issue, which is a major one, is the problem with electric power the island suffers. "Can't imagine a more magical place. We stayed for a week and would have happily stayed for a year. The cottage is the perfect size for two people, and we loved waking up each morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean. "We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was so relaxing and quiet. We only saw a couple people down the beach from us, but they did not stay so we had the beach mostly to ourselves. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the simplicity and quietness of this stay. Everyone we came into contact with while out and about we so friendly and accommodating. Dino was on point with any requests we needed and always did it with a smile. I would definitely recommend staying at this property....
