"Unfortunately, I hadn't read the negative reviews before I booked our stay at the Rainbow Sea Resort. While our suite had stunning views over the ocean and was attractively decorated in a Hamptons/beachy style, as shown in the promotional photos, those were the only positives. The bathroom and kitchen were in dire need of a thorough deep clean; there was grime and black mould in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell in the kitchen. "Ensuite shower dribbles no pressure & hot water takes long time to come thru. Queen beds comfy, singles horrible & beds not sturdy. Kitchen sink plugs don’t work water runs down drain. Dog enclosure advertised as being on veranda - Wring - dig enclosure on side of house, no shelter & not secure"

"Location to the beach is fabulous. Really loved Rainbow Beach and all it offers. I felt the general cleaning of the property was below standard. Lights weren’t working in bedrooms."
