"Great quiet spot on beach. A bit of walk to town but easier than trying to find parking and it’s a nice walk along ocean. We had a great room with huge windows looking towards ocean. "We loved our stay at Villa Etna Mare. The setting is amazing with the most wonderful views of Mount Etna and the coast. The villa is very well equipped with a great outdoor cooking area. The drive up to the villa is quite a drive! but the instructions from Michael meant that you knew exactly where you were and therefore didn't miss any turnings! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Michael, the host,was very helpful with any questions we had too about the local area."

"The apartment was clean and bright and provided for all our needs and more. Giusi was the perfect host, meeting us on arrival, and helping us to arrange a taxi for our return to the airport. She also provided fresh milk as requested, so we could enjoy a cup of tea at apartment- a must for us Brits. The view from the terrace was the best part of the accommodation and we spent time enjoying sunrises and nighttime views alike. "Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"You will never tire of the view. Lovely location. Property has everything you need. The only issues and they are are small ones is that you dont have access to the entire property. The drive up is not for the faint hearted.The neighbours dogs and hornets were also a bit annoying. "

It's close to the Metro, several bus stops, and a train station which made getting around the city (and even visiting other cities for the day) very easy. "Great stay in Catania here for a little winter sun. Staff were amazingly helpful, upgraded our room for free suggested nearby towns to visit. The breakfast everday was exceptional and there were no shortage of option's. The room was spacious and well maintained throughout our stay. The gym was functional (though perhaps the treadmill could do with a service)... the hotel is close to central Catania so makes the perfect base to visit the city. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend."

"We stayed in an apartment that I think isn't apart of the main hotel. It is off-season so the main hotel was closed. The view is incredible and makes you feel like you never want to leave. It felt like staying at an apartment more than a hotel since there isn't concierge or anything like that. I would recommend for anyone to say here as you can't beat the location. "
