"Property was nice. Seemed like it was fairly new and was clean. Was disappointed to find I could not control the temperature in my room. Room was way too hot. Does have a ceiling fan which we ran all night but it was very loud and wobbly, There is a very small window when staff are actually there to respond to issues. Also as a bed and breakfast, I thought breakfast was included in the price I paid for the room but that was apparently not the case and breakfast was another $12 per person. ...

"What can I say, I and my engineers have adopted this hotel as our stop point when working in this area, actually my guys introduced me to it. You are met by the wonderful reception staff, always with the biggest smile. Rooms are ok, all you need, very clean. "Wow, what fantastic staff, and that is only the start. Nicely located a short walk from the train station, this hotel does things in a very personal way. Help yourself to coffee and cake whenever you want. Filtered water to top up your bottle before your day out. Hearty and plentiful breakfasts to set you up for the day. On site secure parking and exceptionally clean barely warrant a mention with so much to praise. No on site restaurant but plenty of great food within 5 minutes walk "

"Always a fabulous stay at the Berchtold. Super covenient to public transportation, clean, nice rooms, great staff, and great food. If you are there at the holiday season, try to get a reservation in to the Raclette chalet as early as possible since it books up really quickly! "This isn’t a hotel but a hostel. There is no shower or bathroom in the room. I never seen any like that in over 20 years. It’s unacceptable especially since it wasn’t disclosed before arrival! The staff were friendly and the location was good. But also No (real) parking, meaning you had to park public which required resets g the parking clock every 1.5 hours. I made it work for me since I could park at my friends house but the fact that nothing of this is properly disclosed prior is terrible!!"
