"This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. "Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"The house was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was amazing to watch the northern lights even in winter and the sauna was an added bonus. The location is great for seeing lots of great sights on the golden circle. We rented a car and toured the southern coast as well as Reykjavík. Listing is as described. The owner sends a full guide to the home and the area which is so helpful. He even gives his cell number for urgent matters. Highly recommend!"
