I should say the road toward the cabin was curvy and if you are traveling during winter season consider to either have 4wheel drive or tire chain for snowny days. "Very nice place to stay. The cabin overall was nicely kept and location wise was very close to all the things I wanted to do and see! Yes, the drive way is steep and I would not consider attempting it without an SUV or truck. (The pot holes are pretty deep!) "Stayed for a long weekend with some friends and had a wonderful time. The cabin is quirky but we didn't really have any problems - e.g., the fixtures in the bathroom shower were loose, there was an insecure shelf in the cupboard that tipped - all small things that were not perfect but were fine. It was an awesome location for hiking and climbing in the Red River Gorge. We enjoyed the hot tub, watched movies, cooked big meals together - the cabin was perfect for all of that. "

"One of the most peaceful and picturesque places we’ve stayed! It was the perfect place to commemorate our anniversary. Our dogs loved it as well! We will definitely be back in the near future! The only thing I’d give fair warning to is the internet is spotty. LTE/Phone service was surprising well. Granted the location, it was the perfect place to unplug from our devices and relax."

"Overall, very good! We stay in many cabins as we go on hiking trips. We have never stayed at a cabin with better surrounding features and view. The cabin is a good cabin. It would be wise to spend 3 to 4 thousand dollars and buy some quality leather chairs, sofa and kitchen table/chairs. The bed was of good quality and comfortable, but the rest of the furniture was surprisingly poor."
