The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff made sure I felt welcomed and informed about everything the hotel had to offer. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud! I especially appreciated the little touches, like complimentary bottled water, plush towels, and the amazing view from my window. The amenities were top-notch: the pool area was clean and relaxing, the on-site restaurant served delicious food with great variety, and the breakfast buffet was generous and fresh each morning. "Well now, this is officially only a 2 star hotel and so you might easily overlook it, but this is a really GOOD 2 star - big bedrooms with excellent AC, a fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool et., powerful WiFi signal, which is a big PLUS! Staff are laid back and not fussing around and an authentic breakfast which is really good for onlyJ$1,500pp. There is short path to a lovely secluded beach with a gentle sea to bathe in. You need a car for sure, as quite a rough access road, but don't be put off by this. Guaranteed you'll be pleasantly surprised, especially by the savings you'll make over swishier establishments. Try for a night or two first of all to see if you like it and I'm sure you will."
