"The resort had excellent rooms some of the best I’ve stayed in actually. The food was excellent the buffet is like the main dinner option most nights which kinda sucks but also the buffet is really expansive. The bar had great drinks and the entertainment was top notch. My only big gripe and making it a 4 instead of the 5 is the staff working the bar and restaurants. They all seemed very angry no one smiled while serving at the bar. "The staff and food were excellent. The resort needs some updating. The elevators didn't always function. One pool was closed for repair during our stay. All the restaurants on our second week were not open as apparently guest numbers were down from our first week."

"The staff at the RIU were amazing. The entertainment was fun and they always got people to engage we loved playing beach volleyball, bingo, and morning yoga. Food was always fresh and so many options to choose from. We loved the oxtail and the steakhouse restaurant was really good. They have five pools that are gorgeous and they were never overcrowded.
