"La tour d'Ivoire What a Hotel! My family of 5 (3 kids, and 2 adults) stayed here because we were visiting all of Switzerland and Geneva was our first stop. First, it was incredibly convenient to be near the SBB train tracks about a two-minute walk from the hotel. check-in was quick, Brian helped us at the desk and spoke fluent English. "Super great location in Olde Town! Rooms are small, but come on....are you really there to stay hang out in a hotel room? Nope. The room had all that you would need (except no washclothes...we brought our own because of past experience in France). The bed, pillow, and comforter (no top sheet as in most hotels in this region of Europe) were very comfortable! We are each meal at a different cafe in Olde Town...a must! The morning market came alive our first morning transforming the streets...

"It was a nice room. I thought I booked a canal view but it was street view. The room had some smell once I got inside. But then after I kept the balcony door open for a bit, it was gone and no more smell in the evening. The location is very central. So, I didn’t use any means of transportation, as I walked everywhere. They offer free tea/coffee at the dining area on the GF level. It’s a small boutique hotel. There’s no lift, so, accessibility may be an issue. I’d recommend this hotel. "

"A one night stopover returning from the Alps. Fist room was small and there was a terrible damp small in the bathroom. We returned to reception and were allocated another room 230 which was much better with nice views over the lake and a little more space.
