A great location. It was close to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The rooms were clean, but small. The breakfast offered a lost of variety, but the “hot” entrées, we’re cold/warm at best. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.

Overall decent but dirty bathroom
Overall, our stay was pleasant. The hotel is in a great area- minutes walk away from Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, close to restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was decent. The rooms were small but that's normal in Rio. The WiFi connection was very good which is actually unusual in Rio. The main complaint is that the bathtub was DIRTY! I mean covered in the kind of soap scum that takes weeks to build up dirty. We went to buy a scrub sponge and clean it before standing in it to take a shower kind of dirty. After staying for several days and cleaning the tub a little more each day, we decided to take a chance and take a bath. Bad idea! There was dirt built up around the jets and I ended up with a painful rash. It's a shame because few hotels in Brazil have baths and a Jacuzzi tub was part of the appeal but it was just gross. I even hung our wet bathing suits on the metal bar at the top of the shower to dry and ended up with black streaks that permanently stained them. Not sure if it was grease, dirt, mold or some combo... The rest of the place seemed pretty clean and housekeeping did a good job tidying up during our stay. Not sure why the tub was so dirty...

Las instalaciones y nuestra habitación fue simplemente perfecta, viajamos con nuestro perrito y nos colocaron un kit para el con cama, tapete y bebedero, el desayuno estuvo bastante completo. La ubicación a 10 min de la playa de Copacabana o de Ipanema, el área es bastante patrullada por los policías, sin embargo es importante estar atento. La atención del staff podría mejorar para hacer de la estadía de los clientes más personalizada y especial. En general me parece muy bueno en cuanto a relación precio y calidad, lo recomiendo.

Nice and clean place to stay. Just Awesome.
A nice modern looking place to stay. 4 blocks from either beach. Puts the place in an excellent location. The street was mildly busy, but the rooms were well insulated. Safe and clean area to walk The room was very comfortable. the bed was a king. bathroom was as large as the bed room! Bathtub free standing. Comfort!
