"The staff was excellent. The problem was the hotel is undergoing extensive renovation. We were not made aware if this at time of booking. The fitness center was not available for most of our 10 day stay. The lobby, with the breakfast area and market, were closed. The breakfast area was in a meeting room with a worn carpet and a limited choice breakfast as compared to our previous stay. Our experience was not up to Hyatt standards. We chose this hotel based on our excellent experience in 2023. I will be requesting an adjustment to our bill from Hyatt. "

"English Inn is located in a previously busy area, but in 2026 , it is somewhat tucked away. We love that! Very clean! Excellent breakfast offerings. If there was anything negative I could say, it would be to say that the mattresses are somewhat hard, but not enough to make them uncomfortable to sleep."
