"Great location with an excellent staff. The room was spacious and the maids cleaned every day. We could walk to the beach and to many restaurants. Two issues: no microwave in the room. I had to walk down the hall to heat up food. Next, the resort fee is confusing and difficult to use, It is basically a hidden charge that increased the cost of my stay. The staff kept saying we could use the fee to purchase food and drink. But it never convenient to do so, like at breakfast. That cost extra. However, the availability of free parking was a major plus."

"The Vanderbilt property was quite impressive. The staff was great. The service was great. I loved how housekeeping came to the room twice a day. The staff made sure everything on the property was clean one of the best places to stay. The only callout I have is the food. I was looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, but I found that you have to go away from the tourist attraction. I give the resort a 4.5 out of five. You will not be disappointed."
