The hotel's location is very convenient to Rome's popular tourists sites and the Vatican City. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large. There are two issues though: first, the wifi was very unreliable and very slow when we got a connection. We can get better connections outside using the cell signal than inside with the wifi. Second, it does not have an elevator. It would be a little difficult if you have heavy luggage or have mobility issues. But overall this is a good hotel.

The hotel was spotless Our room was comfortable and exactly what we needed The front desk, lady Maya was amazing and lots of help for places to see in Rome The breakfast that was included was a great start to the day Probably, and according to my husband in the morning, was one of his favourites of Rome

The room was small but nice but I needed 3 keys because our room was in a separate building with an ancient elevator. It was hard communicating with the staff because they are not fluent in English. The website indicated that they provide laundry service but the staff told us "no laundry". The breakfast was okay but the room was underground, hot and smelled bad.

Terrific property! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great with perfect cappuccinos. The location was perfect to walk to most of the major sights and the location was excellent for dining options…just a 9 minute walk to several off the beaten path neat restaurants that offer such a unique experience dining in the cobblestone alleyways. Highly recommend everything about the Augustana House!

First Visit to Rome
We had a lovely 3 night stay in Rome thanks to the location of this hotel and friendly, accommodating staff! The location was ideal, allowing for easy, walkable access to most sights, great restaurants and ideal shopping. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable bed and spacious room
Stayed at this hotel just two nights. We got a taxi from the train station and it cost us about 45 euros. Recommend to use a taxi that accepts credit cards so you aren’t over charged. Once we got to hotel everything was walkable. Safe location and good breakfast included. The bed was very comfortable. Loved our time in Rome
