"My room was clean, cosy, and comfortable. I only had breakfast once. It was quite busy when I went down but I got seated quickly and the choice of foods was good. The staff were excellent and I was very grateful to check in early after an early flight. One small point to note is the windows are single glazed. I happened to be staying when the marathon was on which meant the city was very noisy at all hours. I was woken up multiple times on Saturday by people partying outside until 4am. I recommend taking ear plugs! "

"The room was very comfortable and the service was perfect. The only down side that some people should be aware of is that the there is not an elevator to the rooms which are on the top floor. This wasn't an issue for me and I was aware of it prior to checking in but, for some people, it might make a difference. The location is hard to beat being only a block from the old town"

"The cabins are great - very fun to stay in and warm and comfortable. The common areas of the hostel could be improved - there are a lot of rooms sharing one tiny kitchen and a very small number of showers. The laundry area is one machine. But the place was always clean and there is plenty of seating. Location is fantastic, easy walk to the attractions of the city and a safe and vibrant area."

"The Hotel is in an ideal location is the big plus. Very disappointed in our arrival arrangements. Our reservation advised us to call before we arrived to get parking instructions and transport to the hotel instructions. The instructions to the parking facility were incomplete as to exactly where in the Mercsnte garage we were allowed to park. The reservation clerk we called was a “bit” impatient and was very rude and unhelpful about how we would get to the hotel. We had never been to Lubijiana before so didn’t understand the “Hotel Shurrle” service. We thought she was sending your own shuttle. We had not been advised about the shuttle’s that should be hailed. We ended up taking a cab and when we are the receptionists rude about our confusion. Better communication on our confirmation would have helped."

"We stayed at 3 hotels in Ljubljana this trip around the same price and the Four Points Sheraton was BY FAR the best one. The most comfortable bed, friendly staff, spacious room, very clean. One of my favorite 4 star hotels we’ve stayed at in Europe. There is a pool and a nice sauna in the gym available until 10pm, you need to set the heat for sauna hotter when you get down there. There is a small cafe/bar area downstairs very convenient for coffee in the mornings (she made oat milk lattes for me too very appreciated). We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to an even larger room and we were spoiled by it, we can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. Free parking for guests. Again, the most comfortable bed. It doesn't seem like it from the outside but the rooms have a luxurious feel. We will stay here again every time we return to Ljubljana. "
