"We rented the cabin for an elk hunt we scored in unit 86. The cabin was the perfect size to base out of and had all the comforts of home with the beauty of the Sangre's and Hayden Creek. Loved our stay and will hopefully be back soon!"

"The cabin was just as pictured! The views from the huge windows were beautiful, with amazing sunsets over the mountains! A deer visited us two evenings in a row, watching us through the windows. We also had hummingbirds visit us while relaxing on the deck. It was so quiet and peaceful! The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable! We had a great time and made wonderful memories!"

"A well maintained cabin with beautiful views if you’re looking to getaway from city life. Lee was a great host, gave good suggestions regarding things to do, and the directions he provided were very helpful. Only suggestions are: fly into Colorado Springs if possible (closer), stop at Safeway instead of general store for groceries - further but cheaper/better selection just buy ice to keep groceries cold for the remainder of the drive, we enjoyed coyotes den for coffee and great food, visit...

"This cabin was located at a lower elevation than other cabins we viewed. Perfect for a couples get away. Appliances were large and functioned well. Used the crock pot and ate at the cabin. Never ate out! We enjoyed visiting this part of Colorado which made this cabin a great location. The history of the cabin is awesome decor and the framed reminders of what NOT to do at the cabin was very tasteful. We used the Fire-pit every night and enjoyed the wilderness location. "This was the best VRBO experience me and my family have had. The cabin was well-appointed in the kitchen and had above and beyond the typical kind and amount of toiletries so once you had your groceries you could really stay in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! It was also very clean and had lots of games and movies to enjoy. The hostess (Debbie) is very kind, helpful, and communicative.
