Don't like the area around Times Square as too busy and noisy, only stayed there because we were neeting friends who had already booked it.
Walls in hotel were too thin. Family next door to us were shouting at 4am and never shut up despite us asking several times the first night. On the 3rd night we called the front desk and they did come up at 5.30 to ask them to be quiet but didn't make any difference. There was a connecting door between the rooms and we could even hear them unzipping the suitcases. Never again !! We stay in lots of hotels and never had this problem
Otherwise it was clean and reception staff were great. Loved the Christmas decorations
