"It was a lovely space to relax and slow down in. Rydal was a place of of time. Rosie is a lovely hostess and her local knowledge helped us get the most from our stay. The history of the area is interesting to find out about. Loved the heated floors and that lovely deep bath in Rose Cottage."

"Pretty complete in terms of facilities and amenities. The fireplace is a great touch, bathroom was beautiful and even board/card games are in supply! We made use of the tennis courts too. A fantastic picturesque view of the mountain areas from the cabins complete its features. Great for a couples getaway where you want to be away from noise. Just come with a small food shop prepared! "Nestled in a quiet valley, the loudest noise is the babbling brook. The large balcony is perfect for reading or enjoying a cuppa or drink. The living area is large, bright and breezy with the kitchen well stocked with essential utensils to make the most of the best stove range, with the cleanup made easy via a dishwasher. The bed is cofortable, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The little things were also catered for, with shaver/sewing kit. I couldn't think of anything that was lacking"
