"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "It was Dec so a little too cold in the desert for a comfortable sleep. They enough provided enough quilts but when the bed is cold, it is cold :-) They had warm running water, bathrooms were clean and well equipped. They do not take credit cards so be prepared to carry cash. The owner met us in the city afterwards, we had to stand in line, withdraw money multiple times from the ATM to give him cash. He was very friendly but the process took away time from our schedule. "

"Camels, and 4X4ā€™s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff.
