"Very French, lovely setting and full of 'antique' toys and charm. A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."

"Booked at last minute for a short break with a friend. House had everything we needed for our stay. Owner lives in part of house next door but he keeps himself to himself and left us to it so it isn't an issue. Great location to discover places in the area. Only downside is nothing in walking distance for the evenings so you have to rely on a car but otherwise great."

"Overall a great stay. Just what we needed for a week of doing nothing in a cosy, beautiful big house. If you want to get away from reality for a while this is the place. House was a perfect size for me and my family! We stayed here for Christmas and it is just what we wanted. "Der Aufenthalt war schöner als erwartet. Der kleine Ort ist sehr hübsch und die Menschen sind auch sehr nett. Die kleine Wohnung ist ausreichend für 2 Personen für 1 Woche, sehr sauber und kuschelig warm. Im Mai ist noch ziemlich kühl dort, aber darauf waren wir eingestellt und alle Orte in der Umgebung uns angeschaut und sogar mehr. Ich hoffe bald wieder dahin zu fahren. Gerne wenn etwas wärmer ist. "I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Info on site mostly okay but phone number for host is missing a number and she doesn't seem to get messages through VRBO but will reply to texts. Very helpful once she knows you are asking"

"The house is a large, beautiful gite with everything we required for our stay; good facilities, clean and a well maintained pool on a daily basis. The property is situated on a hill side allowing for unspoilt scenery in the sunshine. The owners were incredibly helpful, had very speedy responses and allowed us to book on the day! Keen to meet our needs on arrival and could be contacted throughout the stay. Pavilly, a small town is 4km in distance with a supermarket, garage, pharmacy etc....
