"cerises sur le gateau" un magnifique couche de soleil nous a enchantés. Nombreuses visites de, la region : Bibracte et son Mont , l'abbaye de la pierre qui vire , Autun etc. Nous sommes malgré le temps content de notre sejour. "

"The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Mon frère et moi avons passés un agréable séjour de pêche, dans ce chalet lumineux. Tout équipé, bonne literies. Une belle vue sur la vallée . Des propriétaires très gentils et réactifs . Le parking est assez large pour faire demi-tour et stationner un petit fourgon avec remorque et zodiac. A 10 min du lac de Crescent, 20 min du lac de Chaumeçon. A 15 min environ Quarré les tombes, petite supérette, pharmacie (excellente pharmacienne!), bar, restaurants, etc... 1 semaine de déconnexion...

"Philippe is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en reageert zeer snel op vragen en helpt bij onvoorziene omstandigheden. Superhost! De enige tip die we hebben: een theedoek en handdoekje in de keuken. (Die hadden we niet meegenomen omdat handdoeken inbegrepen waren) Wat we ook heel fijn Vonden: er is voor ieder een eigen kleur handdoek! "Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...
