"The house was well equipped with more than enough entertainment options for families. The location was peaceful and relaxed, only two minutes walk from the pristine, sandy beach."

"If you're looking for a peaceful stay in a lovely holiday home that is very well equipped and has beautiful, homely touches then this is for you. The accomodation is not large but was ideal for us (3 of us and a dog) it is so warm and welcoming it was a delight to stay (the pictures probably don't do it justice). There is a large outside area which is again welcoming and a lovely comfortable space to spend time in. The proximity to the beach is also a plus. We would whole heartedly recommended...

"Heerlijk rustig, geen auto of iets te horen. Geweldige sterrenhemel, mooie strand. Tegen alle verwachtingen in was het water in september nog warm genoeg om te zwemmen. Heel vriendelijke gastheer. Alles in huis wat je nodig hebt om zelf te koken en zelfs een haardroger."

"Stayed 8 nights in this lovely property. Is exactly as shown in the photos and would highly recommend staying here. We stayed just before in early April. Is out of season for this town so was quiet and not everything was open in Barneville Carteret but is a lovely little town. Beach is beautiful! The property a great base for exploring Normandy, we had great day trips to Mont St Michel and the D Day beaches. Would highly recommend L en bar quai restaurant (leave room for dessert!!). "Nous avons passés un agréable week-end dans cette maison. Idéalement placée près de la mer mais aussi à 10 min d'une forêt domaniale magnifique et des parcours accrobranche bien appréciés par notre petite famille. Le seul point noir c'est qu'il faut prévoir beaucoup de linge car pas de machine a laver et quand on crapahute dans le sable et la terre pas toujours simple. Mais ça reste dérisoire face à tout le reste."

Nous sommes partis avec nos vélos. La mer est à 800m et les ballades dans les paysages sauvages sont faciles et magnifiques. Sophie et Luc"

"Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"

"...wenn man aus der Tür tritt! Wunderbare Wege zum Strand von Hattainville und zum Cap (je 20 min Fußweg). Trotz Hochsaison war es eine ruhige Umgebung. Wenn es kühl wird, heizt der sehr gut ziehende Kaminofen schön ein (Lüfter läuft nur, wenn der Stecker eingesteckt ist). Das Dachgeschoss ist dank zwei Dachfenstern auch bei warmen Wetter sehr gut belüftbar - die Matraze dort durch die durchgehenden Federn für zwei Menschen aber etwas unruhig. Die Bettdecken waren bei unserem Besuch sehr groß...

"Perfect for 4 people. Two separate toilettes and a bathroom with shower. Lovely garden - with garden furniture. Close to the Beach. Not really walking distance to shops (if you don’t like to walk for about 1 hour as we do!). Maybe better options in the summer - we stayed here in November. "

"An excellent property in a peaceful neighbourhood. As with many properties the photos dont do it justice. Short walk to the beach as this is just off Barneville Plage. Garden spacious so would be good for people with children. Only suggestion and one I would make to almost every property we have stayed at, please some more hanging space in the bedrooms and a 'shelf' in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc."
