"Check in was supposed to be available from 4pm - office doesn't open until 5pm - check in is in a different location - not ideal! - sheets and towels not provided automatically - this is not a hotel - great scenery at the site - deposit of 200 euros needed - in cash! - how primitive is that in this day and age? - good base for travelling around Normandy -"

"Our room had the bare minimum , no wifi even though room was advertised with wifi , no amenities in the room apart from two small bottle of water . Mattress was so uncomfortable and tiny , even for two ladies . We couldn’t open the windows to get some fresh air and cool it ( there’s no fan or AC and weather was warm ) due to the mosquitoes on-site. There’s a pond near the house and apparently this is why there’s a lot of mosquitos. Even though the host is aware of that ,there was no intention...

"Very good stay. Top-notch breakfast, very friendly, welcoming staff. Clean room, comfortable bed but negative point. Noise from fridge constant all night, with more or less noise depending on the time of day. And sometimes, you could even hear the rooms next door taking their showers."
