"We stayed at Shimmering Waters for four nights at the end of October. We were picked up in Kingston by Bakerdon and driven up to Montego Bay (via Dunn’s River). Cannot stress enough how warm a welcome we received from Baker and how helpful he was throughout our stay. Any day trips we wanted to take, Baker was happy to guide and oblige. "We went for a funeral and stayed in this beautiful home for 15 days. Despite being there when hurricane beryl hit and losing power for a few days Mike and Mr Gilly were great. Very caring and considerate, and ensured we had everything we needed. Now to the home, wasn't sure what to expect .The photos dont do it justice. The home is new, modern, and very clean in a very safe community. Dealing with Mike was great, very responsive, and accomadating. Will be back in September and looking forward to...

"Will never EVER CONSIDER staying here again and I will never advise family or friends to come to this property. Poor communication, no cable no pool no remote for the TV. The television that they did have was broken doors open and shut all night by themselves or the wind. If you let them tell it you have to bring your own tissue. You have to bring your own Wi-Fi for Internet fire stick you had to bring your own trash bags, Netflix it was not up to par for anything other than having a roof over...

"Our family of 10 walked into a breathtaking villa with a view of the pool and bay, the day before Hurricane Beryl hit. Gizelle had excellent staff prepared, so we really didn’t have much of a problem. The whole property is amazing! Chef Ritchie was so incredible, my sister in-law wanted to take him home with us. We will definitely tell family and friends about the villa. Next time we will hopefully not go during a hurricane. Thanks so much for our experience."

"Have been traveling to Jamaica since I was 5 years old. Parents had a condo there until last year. Needed to get back to unwind. Able to take myself, wife and our 2 adult sons. It was wonderful. "The place is alright, but too far from shops and main roads, was not happy with the check points it's not a gated community, the place has a lot of underline issue, like the toilets needed to be able to flush properly, and chairs in kitchen needed to be fix and doors need handles lucks broken, house manager needed to be more polite"

"My husband and I had an amazing 5 night stay at the S! There’s a reason this hotel is number 1 on trip advisor. The food, the drink selection and most of all the service was absolutely incredible! I’m not sure why there’s bad reviews about activities, they had stuff planned every single day and a live band every night. The staff has some of the nicest genuine people. Special shout out to our favorite bartenders Denroy and Patrick, thank you for the conversations and excellent drinks! We can’t wait to come back!"

"The food was amazing and Lots of traditional Jamaican dishes that were so delicious. The property is very clean and the staff is very friendly and always willing to help you. "Is not a Quiet place, but is a place where you will get good food, Local and international food. WIFI works good. Nice quality of beverages whit out pay extra. The beach is Ok and the pools are nice. Small hotel but you have access to the other hotels near by and you can use their bars and Disco."
