"Ron and I felt right at home when we arrived. Everything was quaint and relaxing = especially the little deck off the house. We would go out at the end of the day and relax and reflect. It was very private and tuck away just enough to give the feel of being out in wilderness; and once in a while we got to enjoy a deer and sound of coyotes in the distance. "

"I stayed in the Treehouse suite for a week in early September. Hosts Vicky and Micky were consummate hosts. The ranch was spacious with delightful critters and Micky was wonderful, taking me on a trail ride and gave me two horse riding lessons, as well as a tour of the bird sanctuary and farm animal encounter. "Owner called and said the Vrbo had made a mistake and we did not get the cabin we had reserved on the website and that we were going to have to pay extra if we needed the extra bed. "I can’t say enough great things about our stay here. The owners are so nice and the cabin was absolutely what we needed. Peace and quiet, they have everything you need for a family with kids. Pack and play, toys, kids book, playground, all the pots and pans, COLD AC, fire pit. We will be coming back many times! We went to sea world and the zoo, it’s close to everything but secluded. Beautiful night sky and El Chapparel was awesome, splurge for the margs!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Bavarian Cottage @ Home Away Ranch. Enjoyed watching all of the animals but especially the little piggy and the goats that came to visit us daily. The Bavarian Cottage has an amazing deck to enjoy and great view of the horses and playground. Hosts Micky and Vicky were great and sent us a text upon our arrival to see if we needed anything and were very responsive. We stayed here while visiting family in San Antonio and we will definitely stay again during future visits!"
