"The house was small and just the size we needed. Check in was at 4 but it was closer to 4:15 by the time we got in. Landscapers were there and left a huge pile of leaves that blocked the entire front of the house. Had to park next door the entire weekend. Part if the reason for choosing this location was the fireplace option since its January and cold at night. There was no firewood available to use as stated in the post. Other than those 2 things the stay was great. Id recommended a few more...

"Description of house is accurate. It had everything we could possibly need or want. It is definitely remote but those stars you could see so vividly. Bob is informative and really nice by messenger. Owners were not present during our stay but regardless it wouldn’t have been an issue for me. Glad we pre-bought our snacks/drinks because there are no grocery stores or gas station near by. We drove to Big Bend everyday to hike and we bought a couple of things from a small grocery store to cookout...

"We had a great time at this property. The hot tub was very relaxing. The weather really didnt cooperate(overcast and dreary, misting rain) but still had a great time. Cabin is rustic. Felt like we went back in time, but still had modern day appliances. Only thing to add would be if a washer/dryer was there. The cabin was clean. Nothing was broken. Everything worked as expected.
