A nice touch: the property allows guests to use a refrigerator (although, locked overnight), and they have a refillable water station. I thought the staff were extremely nice during breakfast and when asking questions about the area. "

The location is perfect—just two blocks from the Malecón (seafront) and about a seven-minute walk to Playa Mann. It made exploring San Cristóbal easy and convenient. And let’s not forget the family dog—we even fell in love with him. Casa de Nelly isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience filled with hospitality and heart. "This is a family-owned and run hotel that is next to their restaurant and tour business. We soon became family even though we did not speak each others' languages. It is next to the water and pier. We loved sitting out front and listening to the sea lions bark and watch the crabs scurrying about their business. The coveted blue-footed boobie visited each evening."
