"This was average for its price range. The staff were very friendly, but way too few with minimal service pool side or in the restaurants. They head centralized water centers, but the containers they provided were heavy, bulky glass containers. The water near our room was out of service for the week. Despite asking every day for Coke in our mini fridge, they made continued to say she was out. We tried all three restaurants. The food was bland and usually cold. The remainder of the time we ate at the buffet, which was essentially the same fair every evening and all things were room temperature and bland. The location was very close and great for diving to pick us up on the dock but very far from town requiring a $25 cab ride. overall, it was an acceptable stay, but I would not return to this hotel."

"Our AC barely worked, even after staff coming to fix it. Housekeeping was great, food was ok, staff was friendly for the most part. But it is lacking a good area to sit in a bar setting... the main "night time" bar didn't open until 9pm so if you eat an early supper, you have a couple hours with nothing to do, no where to go other than the tanning chairs, Sky Bar (which fills up fast - limited seating) or your room. Staff are pushy for trying to get you to buy their "preferred" packages. Heard from a few people they have let the place go but it was still in decent shape. "

"My husband and I stayed here for a babymoon last week. My husband got so sick we had to pay to have medical staff treat him & prescribe antibiotics. We did not leave the resort during our stay so we believe it was something served at the restaurants. Our room was very clean but dated and had a lot of empty space. On our first day they did not have towels available for a while - after that we woke up early to get clean beach towels. There is ongoing construction, but it did not disrupt our stay. The area & beach is beautiful! It is rocky, but easy to walk in/out with water shoes. "

"The resort was nice. Great beach. Nice pools. Scuba shop was good and dive masters were great. Food at the resort wasn’t great other than the specialty restaurants but reservations are limited. A lot of the buffet food was cold when it should be easy to keep it warm. "

"Pros: right on the beach; great outdoor space; comfy bed Cons: communication wasn't that great (we received check-in details about 4 hrs before check-in). We had groceries delivered, which was a really nice service to provide. However, the property manager tried to charge us 3x the amount Ellen told us. Some items were missing and Mario did not provide an itemized receipt. When I communicated my concerns to Ellen, I did not receive a response. "

"Check-in was an absolute nightmare. I spent more time at the front desk in the first 24 hours that I did on vacation. It was sad, we had so many issues it’s undescribable. There were so many other people that have issues as well that we shared experiences. "

"You won’t regret staying here. It’s well equipped to prepare meals to include a briquette BBQ. The unit has 2 mini split air conditioners to keep you cool along with a well maintained pool. The flora is amazing with dozens of orchids, palm trees and fruit bearing papaya tree. Wild birds fill the air with their calls. The compound is very secure and the neighborhood quiet except for the occasional ATV, which the noise is muffled by the surrounding block wall. Tavo is very communicative and he made access very easy with pictures and maps. We plan on coming back in 2028 with our extended family. "
