Description:

This wonderful and charming flat has much of its original 1908 Edwardian period details intact for your next San Francisco getaway.

Situated on a quiet street in the highly desirable and historic Nob Hill neighborhood, the flat is just one block from the Fairmont Hotel and Huntington Park at the top of Nob Hill - making it the ideal haven by having the city's best-known sights as well as downtown convention & conference centers, tech & financial firms are just a short walking distance away.
Live like a local with the sounds of chiming cable cars 1 block away and harmonious Grace Cathedral bells in the faint distance 2 blocks away. The location is ideal for experiencing this historic and exciting city.

The living room is warm and inviting getting wonderful direct sunlight in the mornings; featuring a 40” ROKU TV, high-speed wireless internet and Bluetooth speaker/radio. The fully-equipped kitchen features quartz counter-tops, refinished original softwood floors, stainless steel appliances and a double-stacked washer & dryer.

The flat accommodates five guests. There is a queen-size bed in the 1st bedroom with a closet, two twin sized beds in the 2nd bedroom with an amoire; and a twin-size bed in the 3rd bedroom with a closet. The 1.5 split bathrooms are appointed with Carrara marble floors and sinktop, along with the restored original claw foot tub.

The flat is stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable: pots and pans, dishes and glassware, cooking and dining utensils, Keurig K-Duo Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker, toaster, blender, along with a spice rack, coffee beans, laundry and dishwasher detergent, towels, linens, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

The drop-leaf dining table seats four and can expand to five by adding the leaf underneath.

Neighborhood:

Located in one of the most desirable and quintessential San Francisco neighborhoods, Nob Hill is in the heart of the city within blocks of the best attractions, shopping, restaurants, bars, theaters and entertainment the city has to offer.

Convenient shopping: Union Square (13 minute walk) Trader Joe's and CVS Pharmacy (11 minute walk) VJ’s Mini Market (2 minute walk) Le Beau Market (5 minute walk)

Easy public transportation to all areas: 3 different cable car lines 1 block, 1.5 and 2 blocks away, respectively. Bus stop is 1/2 block away. Taxis and shuttles are easy to catch at the Fairmont Hotel 1 block away. With the latest addition of the new Chinatown MUNI Subway station being 3 blocks away, gives quick access to many parts of the city.

The property was as advertised. Close to everything. Easy to utilize public transportation. Comfortable and roomy, well supplied. Our only issue was property was not ready at check-in. Cleaners arrived about 15 minutes after our arrival. It took the host 60 + minutes to respond to our initial calls/texts. The tub/shower is an old claw foot tub very difficult for older folks to get in and out.

What we liked most about this property - communication with the property manager/host, location was good (walk to Chinatown, Union Square, or catch the trolley a short walk down the hill), well stocked, and clean. There is a market around the corner and two cafes very close to the property. Overall, good stay.

Beautiful, clean apartment
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The twin beds in the shared room are quite creaky so keep that in mind if two people will be sleeping there, and the shower curtain did not stay to the edges of the tub when in use, making for a slightly uncomfortable shower experience. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here!

We had a great visit and everything worked out perfectly. We were 3 women and felt very ocomfortable. The house was very well stocked and it was nice having coffee when we arrived. We would have preferred a third bedroom instead of a bunkroom but we managed fine, location was perfect and between the #1bus and the cable cars we found our way around the city very easily. Recommend it highly.

Location, location, location
Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights in our charming edwardian flat. Couldn't have picked a better location, it was so central to everything. We were two couples and there was enough space for privacy and the second toilet was appreciated. Furnishings were very tasteful and the kitchen had everything thing we needed. Loved the extra touches such as pantry items, bathroom supplies and even umbrellas (which were used on a couple of occasions). We were able to walk to most places and if we were venturing further, transport was just at the corner of our block. Ease of booking and were even able to accomodate storing our luggage after check out as we weren't flying home until later that evening. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone looking at staying in San Francisco. Thanks for making our trip a memorable one.

The apartment was perfect for a girls' weekend get-away. Having access to two bathrooms was very useful for getting ready. One of the bedrooms (with the bunks) was very small, but that was o.k. with us, since we were there to visit with each other and see the city. And, the beds were all very comfortable. Overall, a wonderful property. We're already talking about returning!
