"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Midas. It’s an easy walk into town, the cafe onsite was excellent and good value, the staff were very helpful. The pool was great, and the tour company (Tukan) were a great choice for exploring Mountain Pine Ridge and its waterfalls and caves. Also great you can get cold purified water free from reception. Only slight irritation was some of my laundry was returned wet inexplicably. It had been sitting around long enough to have a smell and will need to be cleaned again. "

"This is an exceptional resort. We stayed in the Mahogany cabana and it exceeded our expectations. It backed the river and was so pretty. The restaurant overlooks the river and is beautiful. The goat cheese platter was one of my favorite items on the menu. They make their own cheese. Be sure to visit their farm. We toured the Mayan ruins and also did the river tubing tour. We had a great time!"
