"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful home and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of room for family gatherings and property owners very responsive to any questions. The roosters at neighboring property could be rather noisy at times while enjoying afternoons on the patio, but we were still able to relax. I think we got use to them quickly."

"JD's retreat is a home away from home. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel like family. The home is conveniently and centrally located and boasts well-curated and tasteful decor, complete with some enviable antiques! There's nothing precious about it though--it's inviting, comfortable and inspiring with plenty of room to spread out. Highly recommended!"

"We loved this house. The setup was perfect for couples and singles. Great location … short walk to dinner in Santa Ynez and close to local wineries in Solvang and Los Olivos. The house was just as pictured - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Nice backyard for BBQ, cocktails, and cornhole. Pool table was a plus too. Definitely recommend!"

"Spacious home with plenty of living area for 5 adults. The home has been beautifully renovated while keeping charm of an historical site. Easy walking to shops and restaurants on State Street and the pier. Plenty of parking for multiple cars in driveway. Host communicated great and was very helpful."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Dave and Patty were gracious hosts and very accommodating. The setting is very quiet, and it feels like you're up and out of the bustle of the City even though you're at most 15 minutes away from the most popular parts of Santa Barbara. The house was very charming and great for a family. The bed's were comfortable and both sleeping areas have a private bath. Even the little spa was ready to go! Being pet friendly was also a huge plus. We liked it...

"We stayed at the house for a 70th birthday party. All girls The house was clean/organized and in a great location Only problems we noted for management company: the back bedroom (not the master) door lock mechanism does not lock at all-either the mechanism is broken or the door has shifted so lock does not line up The back door from the garage to house malfunctioned -we have no idea why-it just started beeping off and we were unable to use that door. Maybe batteries are dead Everything else...

"The house and property was great! Super fun decorating and inspiring. Great quiet, private location. Nice to have the pool and didn't need a view because the whole house was decorated so fun with great style and colors. Only thing--- the bathrooms could use some towel hooks, but this place was the best! We had a relaxing, quiet getaway. Great restaurants and shopping were a close drive."

"There are 3 bathrooms but one has a shower curtain but no shower. We had trouble getting in as we were given the wrong code for the digital lock. The refrigerator makes a very loud noise off and on. Great location and spacious."

"Very comfortable home and fabulous view. We were a little alarmed when we arrived and just saw a dirt/gravel driveway and no house!. We found it with no problem and there was plenty of parking. We also loved being able to have our dogs with us. It was a great location for a family wedding with many events taking place downtown."

"Amy was very responsive and even allowed my family to have a late check out which was so appreciated. It was in a great location and close to State Street. Property does not sleep 5 but Amy allowed us to bring an air mattress. Property could be better equipped such as having paper towels or toaster in the kitchen. "

"This property worked out very well for our weekend stay for our son’s wedding. House had everything we needed, including a Keurig coffee maker and a French press. We mostly came and went between wedding weekend activities, very quick drive to DT Santa Barbara and the coast. Large enough to gather some family for the in between times. Two driveway parking spots and street parking is available, which was nice to have also. Very good & quick communication when needed. Would definitely stay here...

"We had a wonderful stay! Took our dog, which worked out really well. The property is 10 acre's and fully fenced, so walking with our dog in the morning was perfect. Host's left a wonderful fresh apple coffee cake for us, and some coffee beans, half and half, and butter. It felt just like home"

"Fully stocked everything, as much coffee as you want. Beautiful coverd patio to sit under with lot's of propaine heaters and fire pits. It rained a little while we were there and we still had fun sitting outside under the covered patio. Lots of cosy blankets. The house was nice and clean, the patio needed a little attention. It looks like they are installing a new hot tub right next to the guest house. My granddaughter loved petting the horses on the property. Definetly would recomend this to...
