"Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful well kept gardens with landscaping that provided lots of natural shade around the pool areas. Well organized and fun social events and opportunities for excursions from the hotel. Our room was situated on the east side of building overlooking the sanctuary which meant we awoke with a chorus of wildlife including many varieties of songbirds and one lucky evening watching howler monkeys playing in the trees nearby, but not too close! "The view is amazing. Lots of steps and space which we liked but could be an inconvenience to some. Pool was never crowded so could always find a spot. Food at the restaurants was very good. The buffet food was alright. I think it may have been better if the food was hot or at least hotter. Staff were all amazing. If needed something they were on it. Made the stay great. "We stayed at this hotel during the last 4 days of our 2-week trip so, we really liked that the resort was quiet and occupancy seamed to be low. At times we were the only ones at the pool. We had some challenges at this resort with the safe not working (we went through 4 of them), swarms of ants in our unit and the hotel cleaning staff leaving our back sliding glass door open.
