Sonia was so friendly and courteous. She checked with us to make sure our arriving time so she could be there to check us in. The facility was clean, just a few steps from the Forsyth Park, and you could walk to everywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at the Catherine Ward House! The check in was effortless. The house is in excellent restored condition but with great upgrades to the bathroom! The king bed was super comfortable (on the firm side, which I prefer!) and the pillows were great! The house was full but felt really private. Breakfast was delicious!
This property was as listed, Wonderful staff, rooms were decorated nicely and clean and the food was very good, the location was very close and within walking distance to restaurants and town.We would definitely stay again in the future.
Our room was very comfortable, the garden room.
Loved the staff and Sonja was such a good host. Definitely plan to stay at the Catherine Ward house again, soon.
We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Beware if you cannot do stairs due to mobility issues, reach out to management before booking to inquire.
Everything was great! The place was clean, the staff we met were great, we were served a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. The best place we've stayed at in Savannah since our daughter started school there 3 years ago, and definitely the best B & B we've ever stayed at. Wish they allowed pets because we need to bring our dog when we go for our daughters graduation, but we'll stay there every other time we go, if available. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again!
We stayed in room 3. It was very comfortable and cozy. A/C and fan kept the room a great temperature. Curtains kept the room dark for my husband - who likes to sleep in. There was a lovely little outdoor sitting space right off the room overlooking the courtyard and a great front porch to sit on with tea in the morning. Perfect small full bathroom. Our room was right at the top of the stairs and I worried about hearing others pass by - we didn't hear a thing. The very friendly staff asked for any special needs/requests twice prior to arrival and confirmed our requests when we arrived. Easy parking. Great breakfast - they were very prepared to deal with a variety of diets. We also appreciated that the staff showed us where we could get ice/tea/coffee for ourselves after regular business hours. We will return...and I will ask for room 3 again
We stayed for 2 nights and this was our first time at an Inn and I will say it was exceptional!! The Inn was quiet and tucked away a few minutes walk from Forsyth Park which was lovely! We had breakfast both mornings and it was great both days!! The staff was super friendly and gave such great recommendations! We stayed in room 7 and had our own door to the private courtyard which was nice to spend our evening in! If you’re thinking about it, definitely book! Can’t beat the location and personality of this Inn!
Beautiful house and room. Easy parking and walkable to Forsyth park and restaurants. We were in the cottage behind the main house that shared the exterior wall with a house next door. There were drum beats/music that could be heard in our room that went on until 5AM on both nights we were there that made sleep almost impossible. I’m sure it would have been better had we been in a different room (we were in #8).
The Inn was in excellent shape considering the era it was built. We felt the accommodations were excellent. The area felt safe to us. We love the staff. The Breakfasts were fabulous. We like the close proximity to Forsyth park. It is walkable to downtown, but be prepared for a long walk down and back. The saving grace were the many green space squares along the walk that had park benches to rest. Overall, very enjoyable visit to the Inn and Savannah. Highly recommend.
A lovely and welcoming home away from home in a perfect location, steps from Forsyth Park, a coffee shop, great natural foods store, and wine shop. Sonia and her staff are friendly and welcoming and the small touches — from fresh fruit and chocolate to an invitation to use the plates and glasses in the kitchen for our packed lunch — made us feel welcomed and cared for. Also loved having a fire in our bedroom in a rainy day.
A major shout out to our host, Sonja, who provided good and relevant information and suggestions for our stay in Savannah, and also to the kitchen staff for the great breakfasts they made for us. When we arrived we felt very welcomed and got a great tour of the property along with important details about our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
