CASA SORPRESA, A Romantic, enchanting Spanish Hacienda extremely private, behind gates.
Salt water pool with waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and large fountain. Beautiful hand carved Cantera Stone Columns.
Two Air-conditioned bedrooms with Queen beds and a large day-bed in each room. In-suite private baths in bedrooms and one outside bath by the pool.
The house is tastefully decorated with Hand Made local wood Mexican furnishings. It has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

A wonderful, tranquil oasis that is removed from, and yet an easy walk to, the tourist-filled town center and the beach. The residence is set back from the street and is very quiet and private with charming hacienda decor. The host was wonderful to work with. I can't imagine staying anywhere elae in Sayulita.

Great stay for the first time in Sayulita! We received wonderful recommendations from the host and loved the house. The pool and living area outside were a huge plus. We will definitely rent this place again!

Beautiful and comfortable property in an easy location close to the beach and plaza. Bedrooms are roomy and beds are comfortable. Refreshing pool whose cascading waterfall provided a sound barrier to some of the town noise. Lovely areas front and back to relax in.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The outdoor garden, pool, and living area are a wonderful retreat, feeling hidden away yet still in a quite central location in town. We had some challenges with people blocking the driveway, making it hard to get out, which we ended up working around by parking the golf cart outside and running the cord under the fence to recharge. Rene was super friendly and helpful before and throughout our stay. We loved it here!

Property is exactly as listed. Front gate opens up to a large courtyard and pool. Courtyard is furnished for dining and relaxing. Interior of the home is basic, but roomy and clean. There is a back patio, although we never used it. Beds are comfy. We couldnt get the TV to work, but that turned out to be a good thing. Location could not be better. Walk to beach 3 mins. Downtown 5 mins. I would stay again

Loved this little casa, so cute and perfect for 2 couples. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and outdoor living & dining. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Our host set up our shuttle & golf cart rental & was so quick to respond when I had a question. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group throughly enjoyed our stay. The outdoor living space and pool was well used after the beach which is a few blocks away. The bedrooms had great AC which made sleeping comfortable. The location is perfect as it's quiet and just outside of the main town. We had a fabulous meal prepared by a private chef and highly recommend. We would stay here again!

This property could not be in a better location. The Northside is a bit quieter than central Sayulita and access to the beach is just a 3 min walk down the street. If you’re looking to be in more of a ‘party zone’, this may not be for you. If you’re looking for privacy, this property is unique as the house is behind a large iron gate which keeps out all the activity and most of the traffic noise. Courtyard is stunning! We spent most of our time relaxing in the ‘outdoor living room’ on the comfortable couch and chairs. Kitchen is well equipped but dated, as are the baths. (Hence 4 stars overall) We would recommend the Northside Cafe right next door and across the street is ‘Stogies’ - a neat little speakeasy style drinking establishment. Also, Chewbacca for quick grocery purchases and Whale watching with La Orca. Property manager was extremely responsive.

This is a beautiful property a short walk to the beach and to the main plaza of Suyalita. Communications with the property owner and manager Rene was seamless. The town has a number of good. Restaurants. Mary’s and Itataca were two of our favorites. We did zip lining with Mi Rancho Chapparita and a fun boat tour with Chicca Loca tours to Yalapa. Highly recommend both.

The accommodations were excellent. Rene was SO helpful and the location is perfect!! We really enjoyed the pool as it was quite hot!! Some days we just hung at the house. The only advice I would give is that if you opt to have a private shuttle arranged for you, tip each way separately. We had to pay for the round trip shuttle up front and were under the impression we were going to have the same shuttle for the return trip to the airport based on what the shuttle driver told us when he dropped us off at our accommodations so we also included tip but had a different driver back so tipped again. No biggie, just something to have in mind. The town is amazing, beach is beautiful. We loved it ❤️

When you enter the gates to the Casa you are welcomed by a fountain, wonderful pool with a water feature and a lovely outdoor living and eating area. The fresh flowers in the living area and both bathrooms added a nice touch. After a day of activities, we cooked most of our dinners and appreciated the barbeque. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Roselba (not sure if her name is spelled correctly) kept the casa in good order and was very accommodating.. Thanks you for sharing this beautiful casa with us.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Sopresa for the most part, except there was very loud construction next door till about 10:30 pm. We informed the property manager Rene and he spoke to them and although they ended earlier, the construction continued daily throughout our stay. Wish we would have been informed about this prior to staying there. We spent most days away at the beach or exploring town. The home is otherwise beautiful, rustic and a very convenient location to the beach and town. We enjoyed having a private pool. The North side cafe next door served amazing breakfasts and we went there daily. Overall we had a great time in Sayulita.

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Sorpresa! From the time of booking until after we checked out, we felt very well taken care of. We absolutely loved the pool and surrounding seating area and this is where we spent most of our time when at the home. The town has so many interesting shops and restaurants and everything is within easy walking distance. Such a charming authentic town. Loved though that once we entered the gate into the home we we totally in our private sanctuary. Thank you so much Elsbeth and Rene for taking care of us! Rene was kind enough to make sure I got my sunglasses back after I accidentally left them behind. Highly recommend this property when staying in Sayulita.

We enjoyed our stay in Sayulita. The home was perfectly situation and just what our family needed. The only unfortunate aspect to this listing is we were charged $100 for an extra guest under host fees though we only had six guests. I spoke to VRBO about it who said it was a host charge and when I brought it to the host's attention, he ignored my request to refund us the $100.00. That was the only unfortunate aspect to our stay. That and the coffee filter was never cleaned and full of mold but we fixed that by just going next door to the cafe for our morning coffee.

We loved our stay at Casa Supresa. We stayed 8 days here with our 4 yr old 15 month old and nanny. The space was perfect for our needs. The house could use a little TLC, nothing big, light bulbs out, loose faucet and water pressure issues for showers, but other than that we loved it. Renee was very responsive whenever we called. There are some nice touches like having a small clean water tank in the bathroom to brush teeth with. Having the ability to do laundry was such a plus. We could have gotten away with like three days of clothing for the whole trip.There was a little black kitten that lives in the yard that was the sweetest thing ever.You do not need a golf cart or car for this place, it's a 5 minute walk to downtown and the beach. The house could use something for music, the boom box in the kitchen is broken. The local stores are great for everything you need. We will definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as described and pictured except that it was actually more charming and welcoming in person. We stayed for 6 nights at the end of May with our 2.5 year old and there was never a dull moment. The property itself was perfect for our family of 3. The two bedrooms are huge and spaced out enough to give plenty of privacy. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The front courtyard is GORGEOUS with a beautiful garden, small pool, fountain, bathroom with shower, and fully furnished lounge and dining area. Having the pool at the property was a huge plus for our small child because the beach is definitely more geared towards stronger swimmers. Speaking of the beach, it’s about 1.5 blocks away. The beach here in the North end is very peaceful and there’s a very nice guy who rents umbrellas and chairs out for the day and surfboards if you want. We did not feel like we needed a golf cart even though everyone seemed to drive them. It’s a very short walk to the center of town. We ate at a different restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and could have kept that streak going for weeks it seemed like! If you love tacos like we do, Sayulita has you covered. The house manager Rene was responsive, helpful, and friendly for our entire stay. Next time we come to Sayulita, and we will be back, we are definitely going to book Casa Sorpresa.

We stayed for 10 days in June with 2 teen kids. The listing and pics are very accurate. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Strong wifi. Housekeeping and gardeners come often. The kitchen had most of the things we needed. The bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage, linen and towels. The outside area and pool are awesome. AC in the bedrooms is key and it works well. Outside there are fans which were great. This hacienda is a great escape. Some days we would not even leave, just relax outside in pool. The beach is a block down the street, which is way more chill than the main beach area. Many restaurants in the area. We went to Los Reyes and Tropical Cafe almost daily. Best beach area is Las Sirenas. For unreal fishing, contact William Frias, Sayulita fishing trips. We never found the need for a golf cart rental, walked everywhere. There is little market just next store which was very handy, but for our 10 day trip we ubered back to Bucerias area for larger grocery store run after we arrived. Rene is awesome. Always accessible. We did have to contact him regarding refilling the onsite water tank, but he had the issue resolved the next morning. There is construction in the area that you could hear, but we didnt find it a nuisance. We will be back to visit. 10 days did become a bit long for the kids. I would have stayed longer.
